The Star Wars LEGO theme is by far the most popular of LEGO systems. Of the Star Wars LEGO sets there are many that are discontinued and difficult to acquire. One of these is the LEGO Jango Fett slave I set. This could be the most desirable of sets made for the Star Wars theme mostly because it is a one of a kind set that is no longer distributed. This makes for a very collectible set that has only gained value over the years.
The Slave I Starship
The Slave I starship is a favorite among fans of the Star Wars series. The Slave I was first shown as the ship of Boba Fett, the galaxies most notorious bounty hunter. Boba Fett was commissioned by Jabba the Hutt to capture Han Solo.
The second appearance of the Slave I ship is in the second prequel. Obviously the Attack of the Clones is before the original appearance of the Slave I. In the Attack of the Clones, Jango Fett is the owner of the Slave I. Boba Fett is Jango’s son, or more specifically, his clone. Jango Fett is also depicted as a bounty hunter.
Jango Fett’s Slave I LEGO Set
The LEGO Group has actually released more than one version of the Slave I starship but there is only one that comes with a LEGO Jango Fett mini figure. This is the Star Wars Jango Fett’s Slave I 7153 LEGO set. It is considered a rare LEGO set because it is discontinued and relatively hard to find.
